Dabura Karaba is a Simurian warrior of the Deskunte tribe who serves as the Simurian refugees' primary representative and protector on Earth. He is overwhelmingly powerful — described as being on par with Ryomen Sukuna in terms of raw threat — yet is in truth a gentle, deeply moral man who never wanted to lead. Forced to kill his best friend Dura in a rigged Trial by Combat to protect his hostage sister Spejo, Dabura carries tremendous guilt while honoring his promise to protect the Rumelian people in Dura's absence. His battle with Mahoraga in the ruins of Tokyo marks the first time in his life he has faced a truly equal opponent.
Dabura's first and foundational technique, a concept with no equivalent in human language. It manifests killing intent into a tangible force that gives his attacks their devastating destructive quality. The name cracks speech bubbles when written, as the concept has no root in any human tongue.
Dabura's second technique that generates powerful beams of hard light. When combined with his first technique to solidify them, he can rain down nigh-unavoidable laser-like attacks from any direction. At full power, the intensity of his barrages has been shown to produce a localized Aurora Borealis effect.
After learning Reverse Cursed Technique mid-battle against Mahoraga, Dabura extrapolated Cursed Technique Reversal — allowing him to channel positive energy through his Light technique to instead manifest pure darkness.
Dabura's Domain Expansion, developed during his battle against Mahoraga after learning how to create barriers on the fly. The first Domain Expansion developed by a Simurian on Earth.
By pushing his cursed technique to its absolute limit, Dabura can accelerate himself to sub-light speed — making him the fastest combatant seen in the franchise. The technique is devastatingly powerful but currently destroys his own body in the process, requiring Reverse Cursed Technique to recover.
