Biography
Yakumaru is a sorcerer who views the Simurians with deep suspicion bordering on outright hostility. Working to clear cursed spirits from the dangerous Tokyo exclusion zone, he panics when he believes Cross is reaching for a weapon during a tense standoff and shoots him twice in the chest — precisely at the moment tensions were finally beginning to de-escalate. Dabura removes his shooting arm in retaliation. His colleagues largely regard the incident as something Yakumaru brought upon himself.
